I have to say right away that I completely disagree with the two other reviews of this disc so far posted here.
This disc is IMO yet another, superb SACD from LSO LIVE! And it has also been selected as Editor's
Choice by Gramophone.

Maestro Järvi and the GSO give us a wonderfully lively and romantic interpretation of Tchaikovsky's
equally wonderful first symphony
This is a symphony bursting with memorable tunes, and one that more than once reminds you of the ballets.

I generally agree with akiralx's insightful obervations regarding this release.
This is another good, if not spectacular, SACD from Living Stereo.
Both the Glazunov and the Prokofiev are excellent.
