This was my first Linn SACD and first ever solo recorder disc.

Well, this was my first Chesky SACD, and I was not sure what to expect. This is a compilation of show tunes played by an extremely competent orchestra. There is plenty of fun music here and it is obvious that the orchestra is enjoying themselves.

I have been looking for a SACD recording of Faure's Requiem for some time, as I have always loved this piece of choral music.
