I have been an on and off fan of Spyro Gyra since their breakout album 'Morning Dance.' Quite frankly I lost interest in the late eighty's early ninthy's. This is one of those albums you keep returning to play. It is very reflective and joy to listen to the interplay of these three artists. I agree with both of the two previous reviews that this is a “must have” recording. It is amazing that recordings made 40 to 50 years ago sound this great. I have downloaded one DSD album taking several hours. I have been experimenting with Hi-Rez, DSD downloads, Blu-Ray discs and so far haven't found any of these newer medias superior to SACDs. Downloads usually take several hours to download. I will only use these alternate media to acquire music I can't find on SACDs ... more |

| What applications do I need for my Mac computer to open DSD downloaded files? Several days ago I downloaded a DSD file from DSD-Guide.com and my computer was not able to open the file. The message I got was: There is no application set to open the document "Emily Palen - Glass - 03 - Light in the Fracture - DSDIFF.dff".
