My first thought when buying this was: Well, one more audiophile demonstration disc that you only listen to when your friends come around for a demo-session. But no...
The music is really interesting and combined with an absolutely breathtaking recording quality this is exceptional entertainment. |

So far the best sounding Miles Davis JSACD that I have listened to. Hear that trumpet... Wow!
When speaking of music, I prefer Kind of Blue very slightly over this disc, but both are essentials to jazz-lovers. Buy this instead of the standard Columbia version. |

Highly recommended live recording. The original tape does not sound as good as "Someday my prince will come" (also on SME), but it is still worth paying the extra bucks for getting the JSACD instead of the standard version. |
