OK, Im going to say it right from the start, this is probably the BEST SOUNDING disc that I have heard BAR NONE! I don't care if it was recorded using 24 Bits/96 KHZ technology it just presents the most realistic presentation of "live music" in my room that I have ever experienced and, if you check ... more |

As a long time fan of the Santana "Trilogy" I love this album. But, (flog me with wet noodles if you will) I find that the SACD, while the best digital incarnation that I have heard so far, is lacking a bit of weight and presence that I have experienced with this recording in the past.

This is a hard one for me. After a few listenings I find it a bit of a chore. It's one of these recordings that is "almost there" on every level.
