In typical Peterson style, the opening tune 'Waltzing Is Hip' is played in an uptempo style that leaves you almost breathless. Second up is 'Satin Doll' which is always a hoot, but especially when played by Oscar Peterson. Then it quietens down a little with the intimate 'Love Is Here To Stay'. The last two tunes are also uptempo with some very cool bass on 'Alice in Wonderland' - you can hear the strings hit the fretboard as Sam Jones pulls them hard. Great stuff. As is the entire disc/series.
