Just to comment on another persons reveiw. You say on some of these tracks the is not even real music. I would love to know what makes something qualify as music. Do you write of ambient music off for lack of form? Just curious.

This is a brilliant SACD. Not only is this one of Prog. rocks masterpieces but they did a nice mastering job on it. Gentle Giant are not as easy to swallow as Yes or Genesis but are a band worth checking out. Their music (in my case anyway) took a while to grow on you. I am very happy I picked this ... more |

I have had every version of this album on CD since the first one came out from Phillips in the 1980's. First of all I agree there is no "sameness" (every song sounds the same) on this CD.
