"Piece Of Cake" has one of the best intro's in the business! It sets up this album very nicely. Michel Camilo is a pianist from the Dominican Republic. In 2001 he won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Record.

Another Santana master piece and their second album, recorded in 1970. "Eternal Caravan Of Reincarnation" - the images invoked by the title of the first track and the cover photo really position this album for me. SO WHAT ! That should have been the title of this thing. The music on it hardly transcends the stuff you hear from those trio's in big city hotel lobbies. A smooth operator, that's what John Pizzarelli is. No soul though. Not on this album of super-professionally arranged and performed songs from the American songbook.
