If you like Jazz trio's and the bass as an instrument I would recommend Tony Overwater's disc called "OP" (for Oscar Pettiford).

This is Indian music infused with some Western influences coming from Jon Hassell, Ry Cooder and Rick Jones. I would encourage you to give this one a try. Let me add a short note to the other reviews of this classic. The Stereo mix still sounds somewhat veiled on SACD, especially vis-a-vis the bass - this is my impression compared to other SACD's I have from a similar era. Jacintha has been surrounded by much debate on the internet. Did we need another female jazz singer in 'Diana Krall' mode etc. etc.?
