Like stvnharr we had this disc long before we even thought of buying SACD player. It was actually our first ever SACD and in many ways it is still our favourite. One could not imagine better way to promote new audio format – excellent recording and fantastic performance.

Nothing more to add to Dutchman and Paul, the recording is fantastic and the quality of music… well, these are not the pieces that made Grieg such a popular composer. This is a perfect example of how the good soundtrack can end up being more successful than the film itself.
