This is an album that has grown on me over the past few months. When I first bought it, I shared the concerns expressed by the other reviewers: light weight, poppish, over-produced. Let me preface this review by saying I am not a Dylan fan. This is my first (and last) Dylan album. I bought it because A) I should give him a fair shake and B) it was rereleased on SACD. This is one of my favorite "sleeper" albums. I had never heard of the Coryells or of Chesky Records. I bought it simply because it was SACD. Long story short, this is an incredible album. A very intimate "clubby" sounding CD with an excellent performance and sonics. A big part of this album is the lyrics. You must listen to the story lines to really enjoy this album.
