As a serious fan of the music from the Medieval to the Baroque, I look forward to any new recordings done on SACD. I had seen these new SACD from Aliud here on the site and immediately became interested.

I am going to offer a different review of this SACD. First, as a Proprius SACD, I would expect consistently better sound from such a famous label. It is not here, sadly.

I had ordered a different 2L SACD from the 2L website some time back and was tremendously impressed with the sound and performance....especially the sound. I feel that the folks at 2L know their "stuff" when they set out to record.

This SACD from Caro Mitis is a somewhat different departure from their normal release of music from well known composers like Mozart and Bach to unknown composers like Wölfl and Rebel.
