I decided to give this several listens before posting anything, so here goes.
This is my 4th SACD of Mahler's 6th Symphony, and it joins the Telarc/Zander, MTT/SFO, Abaddo/Berlin and Fischer/Budapest.

"Oh my!!!" is all I can say on this recording!!! When it comes to requiems, I feel that the Berlioz Requiem is king of them all, yes, even over Verdi's totally moving Requiem.

WOW, what a tasty SACD. This SACD is a testimony to my ever maturing tastes, as in years past I would not have bought any wind music such as this, favoring brass chamber music.
