The Stones have never been shy about releasing "greatest hits" type of albums. Clearly country with a bias toward blues. I find this SACD extremely well recoorded and a performace that kept my foot moving to the beat. |

This white male folk/blues performer has his own style. It's not New Orleans, Memphis, or Smokey Mountain blues. He says that he's from Missouri, and I believe it.

I admit, I took a chance on this albulm. Outside of the "Peanuts" specials I knew very little of Vince Guaraldi's work and was a little worried what I might wind up with. If someone had told me years ago, before I had heard of Analoge Productions and Acoustic Sounds, that some of the strongest and most consistent new music releases would be coming out of Salina, Kansas, I wouldn't have believed them.
