I really like this SACD. The performance is outstanding. It gets more rotation than 90% of my SACDs. The cuts from the original album are recorded quite well. I like all the original cuts--particularly Blues Pt. 2 and Variations which were not single hits. It's also nice that Columbia added over ... more |

This SACD was one of the first SACDs that I bought. One commenter on AudioAsylum stated that this is sonically the worst SACD. I don't concur. The trebble is a little bright and not as smooth as I would prefer, but the clarity and dynamics are OK. There's other rock albums that I'm far more ... more |

I like Bela Fleck--both his jazz and blue grass. This SACD was advertised as winning some sort of World Music award. I like the music of Michael Jackson. I had high expectations because the CD is recorded so well, but was disappointed. This SACD sounds fine, but not much better than the CD to me.
