For me this is album is when Depeche Mode started to write decent songs and there are some nice songs here so if you like Depeche Mode then you will like this album. As for the Stereo Mix it sounds good but i havnt ever owned the album previously to owning this SA-CD so i dont know if was like this before or maybe its down to some good re-mastering im not not sure but i did hear a few sounds i hadnt heard before on some songs. Overall it sounds great in stereo. So i would recommend it!

This is the release that first sparked my interest in Depeche Mode. People are People, Blasphemous Rumours, and Master and Servant are classic cuts that really shine in multichannel SACD. The SACD is just excellent. Very open, not too bright, surround elements are placed just right.
