The reversal of the two hi rez stereo channels also occurs on the Berstein and Rachmaninov sym 2..Mahler 1 ...I have a simple reverse channels switch to correct the problem and on some I leave the channels reversed...(Gorecki) obviously on the piano solos Its no problem......I have emailed Membran direct about this and whether this is on all the releases or just a batch etc (Maybe thats why JPC are cheaper than anyone else)only joking as others Ive got are ok (Davis Franck Delibes and Rodrigo) I also asked when the next batch would be released.....I never got a reply....to either question....... Dave....PS I dont see how anyone can sensibly say that the comment/review made by EASA could not be considered helpfull?)

I agree wholeheartedly. It would be a real inconvenience to swap cables round each time I wanted to listen, so being made aware of the problem is really helpful. Many thanks.

The discs I have from the second batch don't have this problem. So hopefully it only applies to the first

Well, I never listen to stereo SACD so the problem wouldn't affect me, maybe that's true of many others - but I would still give him a 'helpful' vote!

UPDATE
After nor receiving reply from Membram I emailed JPC to mention this fact/problem/fault....As you would expect from yhis firm I did receive a reply...
They have notified their buyers and said I can return them If I wish....
No news on Membrans next batch release date ......Dave
