I asked someone in the know a few years ago about MCH ELO releases. The response was that the whereabouts of the MCH masters were unknown (at best) or they have been lost. So stereo is likely all we will ever get for ELO, however I will buy this one if and when it is available. I'd really like A New World Record on SACD, just shame that the MCH Master are missing as both of these albums would have sounded great with a good 5.1 mix.

I *can't* say why. Sorry. I will as soon as I can. But there are going to be some :)'s in the first half of 2011 around here.
I know I :)'d today in relation to SACD releases. :)
Just keep your hopes up -- there are reasons to.
Cryptic? Sure. Confident? Heh... I'll update this thread as soon as I can.
So, only a couple month remaining for the first half of 2011, time for a reveal?

Analogue Productions has yet to release the 25 Verve SACD remasters which were announced some two years ago!

This is the most boring, drawn out, pointless, anti-climactic thread ever. And, given the drivel some of you folk come out with, do take that as a compliment.

Clearly a man with issues but no views

Clearly a man that lacks the ability or will to use the search box. Read my previous contributions. And my statement was indeed an expression of certain views.

My problem with this thread (aside from the good news that never seems to arrive) is that the title "SACD folks are gonna be happy again soon" presumes SACD folks are unhappy for some reason. Yet there are more interesting releases on SACD than I can keep track of. Of course, if all I listened to was rock/pop I might be dissatisfied. Luckily I don't.
