My suggestion for Smetana Ma Vlast, there is really nothing worthwhile at the moment, just wait.

A bit OT maybe, but very nice Cover Shot IMHO. If they have it at Box Office or elsewhere, I am tempted to buy it here in KL.

Whoever the hell is Euell Neverno, perhaps you could wait to write a negative review until you find out the reasons for it. No wonder you got 0 out of 7 helpful reviews. Your low star vote on the sound and performance serves no purpose whatsoever.

Nice musical performance in good sound. My only reservation is that "the water seems to flow a bit fast" in the classic Moldau theme, otherwise almost like being back in Petronas Concert Hall again. I don´t have the disc though, only the download.

I have had serious problems with the fidelity this disk like no other, when played on my Arcam FMJ CD-37. The distortion issues are limited to this particular disk. However, my car stereo plays the disk without such problems, and no one else seems to have the problem. The performance is good and the aggressive sound picture is appropriate to the music. No one else is reporting problems.
The producer of the disk kindly examined my copy and found no issue with the sound. So, at least for those of you who do not own the Arcam FMJ CD-37, I can recommend this disk.
I would be reluctant to rank the quality of the performance in preference to Kubelik's performance with the Bavarian Radio Symphony on Orpheo or Smetacek's performance of the Die Moldau portion of Ma Vlast with the Czech Phil. on Supraphon. Nevertheless, it is a fine, heart-felt performance.
