Yes, but I'm not the one ruling out RBCD...your buddy John is. I listen in stereo where it has been released as such. I just don't make comments like John does about MCH being less than stereo as if MCH listeners only listen to MCH as a gimmick.

Except for the 200 or so DTS 5.1/4.0 RBCDs out there. And your second point is absolutely true.
Bissie continues to release hybrid SACDs and by including RBCD/Stereo/multichannel (the rare exception being La Spagna: no mch) ....... the freedom to choose the preferred layer is certainly up to the listener....and always has been!

DTS requires a separate decoder. PCM is the RBCD recording standard.

It's Bezaly. I don't understand. The new release, BIS-1679 SACD, with Nielsen, Reinecke, Tchaikovsky, Poulenc, Griffes, Chaminade and Rimsky/Aho and the Residentie Orch under Neeme Järvi will hit the downloading sites on or about July 4. It has a street date for the physical SACD in July as well. Where have you seen it??? You shouldn't have.

Ah, the Nielsen Concerto is finally here! I've been looking forward to this one. Robert, without wanting to appear too much of a "goober", I asked you approximately a year ago if procuring a copy signed by Sharon would be possible. If she ever toured in the U.S. I would dutifully wait in line for an autograph :-) Is there a more appropriate venue for asking about this? Tak!
