Apologies if this is an old subject, but I couldn't see a way to search the forums - but then I am a well known idiot!
With the dreaded / beloved (delete as applicable) season almost upon us, I was wondering what people's favourite festive discs are.
My extensive collection of Christmas CDs, blu-rays and SA-CDs is in storage for a while yet, and the only one I can remember is the Opus Arte blu-ray of Tchaikovsky's 'Cherevichki' which is an annual delight.
I would blush to admit the things I would do for a good quality hi-res disc of Hely-Hutchison's Carol Symphony.
Anyone got any festive discs to recommend?

The Gents - Follow That Star
Granted that it has some modulation noise on a few tracks (not everyone is bothered about this) but overall a very enjoyable listen.

I agree--this disc is pretty good. They are not straight forward arrangements--they are closer to "fantasies" or variations. Still, it's quite enjoyable.
