ORG does such a great job with their SACD releases. If you like Jeff Buckley's Grace, you will want this release. The bottom here is full and deep, just like you want it, no mud. I cannot compare this to a previous version of this recording because I have never owned one. All I can say is that this sounds very good. Stockfisch Records keeps doing it. They remind me of Sheffield Labs. I will continue to order their SACDs until they disappoint, I hope that is a long-long time. This was recorded in 1954 and sounds fantastic when that is considered and sounds very good even when you do not consider that. This is a review of the stereo layer. What a great disc! Listening to this in stereo makes me really want to hear it in surround. I am sure "His Holy Modal Majesty" sounds amazing in surround.
