This recording is nothing special... The climaxes clog sonically in the worst fashion. That says something about the so-so quality of the orchestra. Terrible disc... Bass shy... The hall is resonant, but the bass frequencies are not on the recording. Furthermore the performance is terrible and completely prosaic, and pedestrian. BRAVO!!! Brilliant recording of difficult works by American genius, Frank Zappa. There is also a very goofy arrangement of Ravel's Bolero to finish the disc.
