Marion Meadows soprano and tenor sax is reminiscent of Kenny G, but IMO there's too much synthesized music on this SACD which I think detracts from the talents of this fine musician. This is another outstanding Telarc stereo SACD with lots of glowing reviews. It is top rate in terms of dynamic range, imaging, and hall amibience with a wide and deep soundstage. Another Telarc album with great reviews verified by the listening experience. I would classify this album as leaning towards progressive jazz. The soundstage is wide and deep with excellent resolution of the instruments very clearly positioned.

I don't know what the previous reviewer was listening to, but this is another great Telarc album. It won the 2005 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Individual or Group.
