Performance:   Sonics:
I think this album hasn't recieved the attention it deserves..."another contemporary jazz
album" doesn't really do justice to this CD. I really did not have high expectations
for this SACD. But was pleasantly suprised to find that the music is very nice/easy to
listen to but will still get your feet tapping. Some Jazz albums are made solely for the jazz
afficinado- this album can be enjoyed by the general listener; I have played it to people who
don't listen to Jazz with favourable results. And the multi-channel job is excellent-
the back speakers are really put to good use without being too invasive; the music surrounds
you like it should with a good SACD. Heads Up, the company that produced this, really did
a good job. Anyway, I think there are a lot of Jazz albums out there and this is better
than most...definitely a good buy.
