Cool album! I bought it on the strength of reviews on other forums, and I'm glad that I did. Are you kidding me?! No one has reviewed this title yet?!
I have all three MoFi Doobie Brothers releases, and this one is by far my favorite.
Musically, this album is a real treat, mixing the rockers that you hear on the radio with cool (often acoustic) bluesy and/or folksy numbers... plus the ... more |

Okay, well, music-wise, let's be clear... this album is kind of like a Bruce Lee movie. If you can appreciate it and actually like that kind of thing, then you are never, EVER going to get a more crystal clear, lifelike, well-produced version of this release.

I agree with analogue's review; "relaxing" is a great word. MoFi did these two Marvin Gaye releases justice, didn't they? Separation, texture, definition.... This one highlights his voice to a fantastic degree. Keep 'em coming, MoFi. |
