A big suprise by an artist I had never heard of and took a chance on based on 5 out of 5 happy with it.
The SACD quality is first rate and the disc can be obtained at bargain price.
A description of it contents has to be long and varied as the disc.

Whilst I cannot disagree with Edwins comments I too looked forward to this disc of strange bedfellows.
The recording quality is good and in my opinion slightly better for the symphony which was the earlier of the two recordings.There is plenty of weight and depth in the stereo version.

This time not much to add to Castors perfect decription of the ideal companion disc to Beartons Lut disc.They even offer lower postage for 2?.Its near impossible to buy actually in Poland from my
limited exoerience.

This rates a wow on the entertainment level.Trying to supplement Castors review I think I am more enthusiastic over this disc than he is. The Concerto for Orchestra seems more like a masterly set of variations on a tune known as Bobby Shafto ? It is half an hour long and not a minute is wasted.large ... more |

Curious Soundtrack which starts with a distinctly Arabic sounding bellydancer type song track thats very catchy and pop ish sounding.
