This was a great show...I saw Springsteen in Boston for this tour, but while the SACD does capture some of the energy of it, the recording is pretty bland. Production is not much better, with some guitar solos being inaudible. Bruce deserves better! |

This disc is just excellent! I bought it before I had an SACD player, and when I finally listened to the SACD layer i was blown away! The low-level resolution is great...very detailed. The acoustics in the hall are fabulous, and the performance is great also. I wasn't familiar with Mahler before ... more |

This is my favorite of Spyro Gyra's first 3 Heads Up releases. Although it struck me that Spyro Gyra is more of a back-up band for the group's saxophone player, they do make nice music--if you happen to like smooth jazz. One of the best "pure dsd" recordings in my collection. |
