Well to start with I must say this is the only classical SACD I have...
I collect Jazz and some pop/rock so I am in no position to judge a classical
sacd. However, I do have this to say: It seems to me that this album would work

Yes, this is a great great jazz album and accessible to anyone as a wonderful
piece of music. BUT having listened to both the regular CD I got
a few years ago and the SACD version, I really have to be honest and say

I like the music in this album...obviously, Sarah Vaughan is one of the greats and it
is easy to see why. But as I expected, the Multi channel work leaves a lot to be desired.
Perhaps this is the best that can be done with older recordings, I am not sure. Overall,

I think this album hasn't recieved the attention it deserves..."another contemporary jazz
album" doesn't really do justice to this CD. I really did not have high expectations
for this SACD. But was pleasantly suprised to find that the music is very nice/easy to

This a great SACD version of the original album. Once again, I am left wondering why
the review of it had to be lifted from amazon...where are the reviews from the regular
guy who is hungry for SACDs? I can say this a very good SACD buy and I haven't even
