Clearly country with a bias toward blues. I find this SACD extremely well recoorded and a performace that kept my foot moving to the beat. |

This white male folk/blues performer has his own style. It's not New Orleans, Memphis, or Smokey Mountain blues. He says that he's from Missouri, and I believe it.

This is a country blues album--something you would expect from some rural eastern area.. This is not New Orleans or Memphis blues. It is a poor, white man's blues. This performance emphasizes purcussion, but there are no drum solos (thank goodness). Both the performance and sonics are outstanding.
