Sound is OK for a SACD but not special. I compared the sound of this SACD with the same tracks included in Mr. Cocker´s box set Long Voyage Home. As this site is about sound and not performances, I only have to say one thing: this is a DEMO disc, it really has the WOW factor. Perhaps people is wondering why this release have reviews moving from 4.5 to 3 stars. It depends on your base for analysis. To my mind this is the best disc out of Renaissance production. To my ears it was one of the nicest LP in my collection. There is a vast improvement between the SACD version of Queen Greatest Hits I and the sound of the remastered CD version of the same title.
