There is a huge improvement between the SACD version of Queen Greatest Hits II and the sound of any of the versions on regular CD. Well, this not Roger Waters as his best. A lifeless "opera" (not sure it deserves this name)witn no drama at all, not getting into any new grounds, just a misstep in a great carrer. Decent sound by the way. |

This is one of most accesible titles from CAN and it is by far one of the best sounding SACD in my entire collection. Some fans do not like this record arguing it is not "typical CAN", but that is not true. Flow Motion for instance is one of the best "tribal" songs recorded by CAN. Some catchy tunes ... more |

It will be difficult to find a better sounding Symphony N° 3. This title shows what SACD is all about. Unfortunately, from the imterpretation point of view, this title tends to be a little lifeless. I compared it with my "standard": Dawn Upshaw/Zinman/Nonesuch, and well, 5 stars to Upshaw and just 3 ... more |
