   Been watching/collecting films since early '90s, first on laserdisc, then moving to DVD. Not bought into blueray (yet) as I very rarely look at anything other than the film and I'm happy with the quality I get from DVD.

I got interested in SACD 'accidentally' in 2011, and now in 2012 trying to backfill by collection.

Other interests: Morris dancer and I'm a Harley rider ( no idea how those two fit together)!

I've had this on LP way back when, then CD and it has been, in all honesty, one of my favourite and most played albums. Today I received my SA-CD copy. I am very happy I. I tend to buy from UK, mostly via ebay but not because of the delivery delay. I'd behappy to buy from abroad, and even pay the tax and duty if applicable when it hits the UK. What i really hate is the carriers who charge someone in the USA to ship to me, then when it arrives here add a 10UKP admin charge (for the act of collecting VAT and duty) ... more

I listened to my first SACD in mid2012 as a result of a bad experience. I sold my DVD player on eBay and after three weeks the guy complained it wouldn't play SACDs. Huh, what's that? Anyway, curiosity ruled and I went out and bought one to listen to on my replacement DVD player(DV139). Good for me (and bad for the bank manager) it was Dark Side ... more
