This recording and performance are wonderful. Oistrakh never sounds wispy and leads the orchestra (conducted superbly by Cluytens, so no suprises there). I'm so glad a friend introduced me to Oistrakh, they dont make them like this anymore.

Just purchased this SA-CD. Exquisite japanese remastering (better than EMI remastering on FLAC high res tracks), a real pleasure!
