I owned this sacd for over a month now. I don't own the dvda or the earlier issued sacd so I can't compare it to those. What I have is the gold rbcd AF version(I still own this). In stereo, the sacd has this warm tone, nice separation of instruments, wide sound stage and substantial bass that's not really overwhelming but certainly bigger than the AF version. The sacd was mastered louder but not really compressed. The mids and highs are more laid back as compared to the AF. I can't find any major fault in the multichannel layer. The instruments are clearly presented to the listener and envelops him/her with sonics that's warmer than the previous rbcd version. The bass is great in multichannel but not as big as in the stereo sacd layer.
I enjoy listening to this sacd and gladly recommends this for classic rock enthusiasts.
