Performance:
I can't speak for the sonics, which, judging by previous releases on Tudor, must be quite good.
One can live an entire life just to hear that wonderful oboe solo at the beginning of Nanie: what a sound! Right at the winds-only beginning section, many of the wonderful characteristics of this fine European orchestra are revealed to us: clear sound, careful observation of articulations, texture that changes color gradually preparing the entrance of the choir.

Bavarian Radio chorus also sounds magnificent with impeccable intonation and wonderful homogeneous sound in the PP.

On the negative side, I wonder why Maestro Ticciati allowed for a gradual change of tempo not far from the beginning of Schicksalslied--would that be an editing mistake?? The piece really starts slower; when the choir enters tempo is a bit faster.
