MFSL got this one right. For one, it's quite a dynamic album. A little warm, but plenty of inner detail. Tone isn't perfect (I would have contoured the bass a little bit and added a little bit of treble), but it's a lot more neutral than What's Goin On.

I agree with analogue's review; "relaxing" is a great word. MoFi did these two Marvin Gaye releases justice, didn't they? Separation, texture, definition.... This one highlights his voice to a fantastic degree. Keep 'em coming, MoFi.

This is the second Mofi sacd release of Marvin Gaye thus far this year. I had no idea Let's get in on was such a great album. Marvin Gaye fans know the title track and "distant lover" tracks but I was shocked at how every single song on this album had the Gaye stamp of eroticism and sensuality. This is one powerful album. Mobile Fidelity did a fabulous job bringing out the complete nuance of Gayes voice. This guy had a fantastic, passionate voice and one can easily hear it on this release. I completely understand now why this was such a landmark release and why it influenced all soul albums afterwards....including those made today. If I could characterize this sacd release in a few words I would say it is extrmemly relaxing to listen to...............by that I mean it sounds very analogue...like a vinyl record. The sound is also very warm. Once you get into listening to this sacd you wont be moving off the chair anytime soon.
Another spledid release from Mofi. Keep-em coming.
