Wow, what a trip! This should totally engross you. IMHO some of the most innovative playing that I have heard in quite a while.

This disc is extremely well recorded and mastered. It can be enjoyed as an involving, concentrated musical experience and, this is also a great mood setter though by no means anything close to what one would decsribe as "background music" . It shows what true masters of their instruments though seemingly of widely differing backgrounds can accomplish in a collaberative effort. Unique and very highly recommended.

Bourbon and Rosewater is another one of Kavi Alexander's great successes. I love these east meets west recordings and Jerry Douglas' Dobro playing is superb. The sonics are first rate it is just like the musicians are in your living room.
