Items about the musicians are in Japanese only. Village 2007.
This is a collection of ten jazzy pop songs and I´m somewhat disappointed. On her fist record she debuted as a thrilling jazz singer and now she turns to pop. Songs like Soul Shadows, Don`t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight, Love Is The Seventh Wave, I Feel Like Makin´ Love and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face among others are presented in perfectly arranged versions. I strongly hope that she will return to jazz again on her next SACD because I like her very much. But don`t misunderstand, as a pop record this one`s nothing less than perfect. But I have awaited a jazz record when I ordered it.
The sound of the disc is perfect.
