Performance:   Sonics:
Another great high resolution album from Analogue Productions using the original source master. The sound is open and full bodied with good dynamic range. You can clearly hear the great guitar work from John and Tom Fogerty and Stu Cook, drums from Doug Clifford and good vocal harmonies. I guess one could complain about the albums length (29:23) and perhaps not particularly care for the vocal stylings, but I don't know how anyone with a good audio system would not enjoy this SACD. I know I will for a long time.

Sonics:
Flat, dull & lifeless even on the best equipment. This applies to all the CCR SACD's.

In some ways i think this is the groups best album. It really gels together and has no filler tracks. Sound wise its very good indeed. I dont think its realistic to expect any kind of improvement over and above whats been achieved with these excellent remasters. Maybe a shm sad might offer minor sonic gains. The sleeve notes are well written and its a great album thats still available at a sensible price so buy it while you can!
