Performance:   Sonics:
A new recording form the Netherlands Bach Society, and how? Its a wounderfull performance off the first version of Bachs St. John Passion. After the latest resarch they have come to a performance with much smaller forces. There are 11 instumentalist an 10 singers. The solist are also performing the choral parts together with 4 repienist.

Its a verry transparant performance, you have got to get used to it, when you compare it wiht the usual performances.My former disk was off Ton Koopman and The Amsterdam Baroque, also beautifull, but this new one is so delicate. You hear for example much more detail in the choirs.

I have listenend to the SACD layer in 2 channels
