AWEFUL!!!

This greatest hits album must be listened to before buying. BJ takes theirs songs someplace that they dont belong, accoustic and mushy.

Not even recorded well. Its a coaster on my table.

This Left Feels Right is to Bon Jovi what MTV Unpugged is to Nirvana. TLFR demonstrates that Bon Jovi can perform without the need for full throttle on almost every other track. It's almost as if Bon Jovi were recording this album while trying not to wake a sleeping baby in an adjacent room. They've toned things down to a level that's perfectly restrained but not so toned down that it loses all of its energy.

I hadn't heard every song on the album previously, so don't know what some of the originals sounded like, but the tracks I do know compare very favourably, in a toned-down sort of way. My only criticism and reason for four stars and not five, is that the surround mix is just a bit too subtle. Its unquestionably a discrete 5.1 mix, but a bit more action in the rear channels would have resulted in five stars for sure.

The most important thing I can say about this album is: listen to it before you buy it! It's a good album but I don't think that everebody will like it.
I bought it because I wanted a good rock album, someting to use at partys etc. I really like songs like You give love a bad name and Livin' on a prayer.
The first time I listened to this album I was disapointed, I barely recognized any of the songs... And it's not the party rock album I was hoping for, but of course it's my mistake, I should have listened to it before I bought it, and you should to!

But after the first disapointment I started to like this album. The music is good, the sound quality is good, but the 5.1 mix is not impressive, it could have been better!
I don't think this will ever become one of my favorites, it's ok, but when I listen to it I always think that something is missing and I don't know what it is...
