Thanks to the reviewers recommendations I have purchased the 1974 Quad mix on CD-4 Quadradisc LP.
A new sealed copy.
Will capture to my 2 synched Korg MR2000s DSD recorders and make a quad 96/24 DVD-A.

Yes of course, and will likely get the SACD as well.
But I am collecting good vintage CD-4 LPs and couldn't resist a "new" sealed one from 1974.
The SACD reviews and eBay availability of this sealed LP just pushed me over the edge.
Sealed CD-4 LPs are highly sought after.
I do have 312 SACD titles in my library here,

If there is ever a single way of demonstrating how much better a remastered SACD can sound over the same material on LP, this is the disc I use. The CD-4 disc I've owned since the 70's has always sounded pretty lousy to me, but the Mobile Fidelity SACD sounds as if it's completely re-recorded, and not just tweaked around with. The difference in sound quality is enormous.

Was there a Mobile Fidelity SACD of 461 Ocean Boulevard? I do know of a MoFi Gold CD and a Universal SACD of this title, but no MoFi SACD.
What catalog number has it?

Sorry, my bad. It's a Polydor SACD, not Mobile Fidelity. Still terrific, though. I stand corrected.
