OK..so Harmonia Mundi has this to say
"This specially priced two disc celebration of the music of Igor Stravinsky features historic stereo recordings made between 1970 to 1987, all remastered for SACD. It includes a wide array of works that demonstrate the breadth and depth of both the composer's skill and his curiosity. Ranging from the opulence of The Firebird to the sparse neo-classic L'Histoire du Soldat suite, the repertoire on this set provides the listener with a fascinating survey of Stravinsky's music from the teens and twenties. Performers include the Tokyo String Quartet, the Boston Symphony Chamber Players and the Czech Philharmonic led by Christoph von Dohnanyi."

I think that for most people the obvious big draw here would be the BSO Chamber Players' "Histoire," though for me the Dohanyi "Firebird" would be an equally big if not even bigger attraction, and even Kosler's "Noces" alone might make this worth acquiring.

Recording dates:

Firebird: May 18, 1983

Symphony in C: June 28-29, 1970

Noces: February 4, 1982

Solider's Tale Suite: May 28, 1980

Three Pieces for String Quartet: February 2, 1987

Concertino for String Quartet: February 2, 1987

Shakespeare songs: February 2, 1971

The Dohnanyi, BSCP, and Tokyo Qt performances are live takes, as are the Shakespeare songs. Neumann and Kosler were recorded in studio.
