Exton was doing so well recording in Heinz Hall, it seems strange that they would want to make the recording in the Musikverein on a tour.
Surely you have no issues with the Musikverein?

The Mahler cycle from Markus Stenz continues in November with the 8th. The previous ones seem to have been well received on SACD. Also Pentatone release Pletnev's Tchaikovsky 3rd Symphony.
RNO will do Manfred as well, repeat RNO will do Manfred. I heard it on the grapevine

A whole new bunch of new Sviatoslav Richter SACDs also coming out on Praga over the course of this year as well. Mostly his LvB from Prague Spring appearances. All priced budget level (under 10 euros) on a certain non-UK/Germany/Italy/Spain/US/Canada/Japan-based branch of a dominant global internet seller site.
And Kleiber's (fils) VPO Schubert 3 & Unfinished coming out from Universal Japan (DG, Emil Berliner Studios remastering). With some others.

Due on 5th November from LSO Live is a performance of Faure Requiem with LSO Chamber Ensemble and Tenebrae conducted by Michael Short. This was not recorded at the Barbican but at St Giles, Cripplegate which has an excellent acoustic.. The disc also includes Bach 'Partitas, Chorales and Ciaconna' with Gordan Nikolitch (violin) and Tenebrae who incidentally are on a US tour this autumn and again next spring. The Bach chorales are in an arrangement by Helga Thoene with violin. The version of the Requiem used is the Rutter chamber orchestra one. This is another of some 35+ European classical releases scheduled for the next month or so, the majority of which have not yet received a mention on our site.

John, it was not meant to be a criticism of you but exasperation at the labels who seem to be able to submit details to at least some of the mail order retailers yet cannot find the time to include SACD-Net in their product release info. Not sure how to find barcodes without buying the discs.

I didn't take it as one - more of a plea!
Nor me, really but I'll hunt around...

No, but new venues present new challenges. I don't believe Exton has recorded previously in that venue. Exton seems to have Heinz Hall figured out, so why change? See Seth's comment 191 in this thread
