I have been reading Channel Classics newsletter and among some very interesting releases early next year I was amused to see that Rachel Podger has teamed up with someone less fortunate than herself to record Bach's well known concerto for 'hobo' (sic) and violin. Can't wait!

Does the newsletter say who is playing the hobo?

I saw among other things coming next year a Piazolla piece with Rick Stotijn and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. That´s very nice. Just heard it on the radio a week ago and thought how wonderful it would be if Channel got the chance to record it.
Congratulations Jared! The soloist is stunning and it´s a good orchestra. Esa-Pekka Salonen was chief conductor for quite a long time. Perhaps is there a chance to get more recordings from that source?

Does anyone have this yet?
Ravel: Compared - Giacometti

I've been looking for something like this for some time, but there's only one quite depressing review.
