I am holding mine in my hand as I type this. The packaging is outstanding as well as the art. I have not yet listened to it. Will report soon!

Currently listening. I am about to finish hearing Welcome To The Machine, the buzzers and all the sounds are mixed into the surrounds so well. So far this is arguably the best SACD I own. Have a Cigar just started, the beginning is incredible.

Just finished listening. Incredible SACD. Needs to be purchased by everyone here. The wait was worth it.

Better than dsotm or avalon? those are the reference for sacd quality for me.
BTW, mine shipped out yesterday too.

I too just had mine delivered. This is pure revolutionary. I am in the middle of Shine on You Crazy Diamon (1-5). I have never heard Floyd sound so beautiful. The digi packaging is pretty nice too. A MUST OWN!

Should probably buy multiple copies so I can sell them later at 4-5 times the price when it goes out of print. And we all know it will go out of print fairly quickly.

I have not heard Avalon. But I think I like it more than DSOTM. I haven't listened to DSOTM in 5.1 in awhile. I think I'll throw it in to give it another listen to A/B but I really gotta say WYWH is downright beautiful. I don't remember getting that same impression when I heard DSOTM for the first time in SACD, I probably was too young to really get an appreciation for it.

They are very different albums. So although Pink Floyd's music is an obvious choice for 5.1, you really can't compare the two.
I want to hear Meddle on MC SACD!
