I agree with the other reviewer. This new SACD of Selections from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker from Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops sounds great. The Cincinnati Pops play the pieces quite well, and Erich Kunzel conducts at a reasonably pleasing tempo, not too slow, not too fast. Telarc as usual ... more

I too just had mine delivered. This is pure revolutionary. I am in the middle of Shine on You Crazy Diamon (1-5). I have never heard Floyd sound so beautiful. The digi packaging is pretty nice too. A MUST OWN! [more later] ... more

Perhaps one reason the SACD is not being heavily promoted is due to the fact acoustic sounds is the only retailer taking pre-orders for the disc. As a former attorney who did some work in the industry, it also wouldn't surprise me if AS signed an exclusivity agreement that limited their ability to promote the exclusivity so not to compete with the ... more
