The title has been postponed a few times ... I really hope it will be released next week. I can't wait another month :)

What happened to the supposed Aug 30 release? Is it postponed again? A check with AS website list this as "preorder" (no date given).

The Tillerman postponement is a disappointment. Perhaps if the disc had been available on time, enough people would be able to hear it in high quality sound such that a tipping point in favor of world peace and universal human rights would finally be achieved. But no, we're not going have world peace now because AP can't get their act together.

And I shake my fists at your comeback vinyl! You heavy, scratch prone, undeserving polymer!

A quote seemingly from the bard himself, Billy Shakespeare.

And yes, it's mighty disappointing that there won't be any caffeine for this Tillerman any time too soon.

And everyone's pondering when the WALL will be released in 5.1?????????????? Long after I'm dead and buried.

To be fair, this is all due to the long delay in the release of the LP version which after all is Analogue Productions primary music delivery format. The review copies of AP's Tea For the Tillerman LP went out months before the LP was actually released, which was just last week.

The SACD will be next, but AP releases the LP first and they have some tough competition IMHO. I have a 24/96 rip of the MFSL LP and it's one of the finest recordings I have ever heard. Hopefully the AP SACD will be even better.

One thing is for sure, APO won't be able to compete with a free 24/96 rip as far as value for the money is concerned.

RE:Tea For The Tillerman:
I'm beginning to think that the SACD is vaporware.
It got pushed back every time within 2 weeks of the supposed release date.
The newest said 09-01-11
The date rolled on by and now it just says TBA
Which could mean 2 years from now if ever :(

I "bought" this SACD without realising it hadn't been released yet.

When it is released ( and if it is ) it will have to be better than the 24/96 rip of the MFSL album, I would think. Unless playing a record is superior to professional digital mastering that is.

I have the MFSL record and its excellent. I'm anxious to compare it to the SACD.
