I'm new to this thread so apologies if I have missed something.

I'm wondering if any more recordings by the New Dutch Academy are planned. I've got the Schmidt one they did and it is marvellous - musically and sound-engineering-wise. I haven't got the Mannheim Volumes 1 and 2 yet but I plan to do so soon.

Any response? Anyone?

Pentaman:

I thought I recalled your release planning showed two Italiano Beethoven Quartet discs for the fall, but when I went on your site last night there was only one. Is my memory faulty? Or was there a change of plans? My biggest wish when I heard of the RQR series was that much of the Italiano's core repertoire might eventually make it out on PentaTone!

Thanks,
Bret

Hello

A question for Pentaman : I read for october the release of the 4th SACD of Beethoven/Kodama.
Are the complete sonatas of Beethoven planned with Mari Kodama ?

Regards - Dominique

Yes, Dominique, that is going to happen. The project is spread over a number of years. You may expect a release every 9 months roughly.

There are also reports about her recording the Beethoven concertos. I'm pretty sure I have read somewhere that they have already been recorded, or at least most of them. As I have understood it, it was/is with DSO and her husband Kent Nagano conducting...

Now - is that for Pentatone too?

Hello all and Pentaman

I received yesterday the very interesting newsletter 10 of Pentatone with good news, as usual, for example the recording of "the Trout" of Schubert.

About the Storioni, they record Beethoven's trios 2 & 5. Do you plan to record with them 1, 3 & 4 (it should be a great gift with the "archduke") ?

Domimag.

No plans in the foreseable future, but for the long term it is on the list.
